How To: Get Michelle Williams’ Oz Premiere Look With Laura Mercier

Michelle Williams looked flawless at the Oz: The Great & Powerful European premiere in London last week – we saw her up close on the red carpet – and Laura Mercier make-up artist Sabrina Bedrani was responsible for her fresh look. We found out exactly what Bedrani used so you can recreate Michelle’s stunning look:

All Michelle’s make-up was from Laura Mercier, and Bedrani said her starting point was the actress’s gown:

“My inspiration for the look always comes from the dress. Michelle was wearing a very colourful Burberry peacock feather dress, so I wanted to show some versatility in her makeup.”

EYES: Bedrani lined Williams’ upper and lower lash lines using Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Smoke. Next, she applied Caviar Stick Eye Colour in Grey Pearl to her eyelids to brighten the eye area. Williams’ eyebrows were then filled in using Eye Brow Pencil in Fair Blonde and Laura Mercier Eye Brow Gel was used to define the shape. Bedrani added the final touch of glamour by applying two coats of Faux Lash Mascara to her top and bottom lashes.

FLAWLESS FACE: Bedrani kept the actress’s face “fresh and youthful” with Laura Mercier Silk Crème Foundation in Cream Ivory to even out her complexion.  Secret Camouflage in SC-1 was then used to conceal any imperfections. A dusting of Loose Setting Powder all over her skin set the look. Finally, she applied Second Skin Cheek Colour in Heather Pink to the star’s cheeks for a healthy glow.

LIPS: Bedrani “dabbed a little” Lip Stain in Scarlet on William’s lips to finish the look. The feminine colour was used to “complement the hue of the dress.”

As a huge fan of both Michelle and Laura Mercier products – her tinted moisturiser and concealer are two of my must-haves – I’ll definitely be trying out this look. Will you? Let me know in the comments below!
