The boho, festival vibes of the 70s, bigger than big hair of the 80s and ultra sleek, grunge trends of the 90s may seem a whole lifetime ago, but a closer inspection of our Instagram feed reveals there are elements of these decades we never truly left behind. It’s fair to say we had our fair share of beauty wins as well as, what can only be described as beauty faux pas in decades gone by, but this month we’re embracing a more timeless take on the 70s, 80s and 90s, adding a modern twist to our favourite looks from the past!
THE 70s
When it comes to all things 70s, the likes of boho braids, flower crowns and muted colour palettes instantly spring to mind, conjuring up images of soft and pretty styles that are universally flattering across all skin tones.
